Sukhothai Historical Park
Located 12 kms. From town, Sukhothai Historical Park
waerestored by the Fine Arts Department in cooperation with
UNESCO. Among the attractions are the remains of several major
Buddhist temples, a complex system of canals and
ponds to supply water to the city and stupas shaped like a lotus
bud typifying sukhothai architecture.
Phisanulok’s Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat contains one of
Thailand’s most beautiful and significant Buddha image,
Phra Buddha Chinnarat, which was cast in 1357.
A KB 05 - A : Kanchanaburi & River Kwai
By road to Kanchanaburi. Visit Bridge over the River Kwai
built by forced labor of Allied prisoners of war under the
command of the Japanese army during WW II.
Prisoners died in thousands and were buried in the Memorial
Cemetery. Visit War Museum. Lunch.
A trip by train on the Death Railway also built by th Allied
prisoners a strategic route to Myanmar.

Lunch. Afternoon visit Sukhothai Historical Park.
Day 2 : Breakfast at hotel, visit Phitsanulok province.
Day 3 : Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure and transfer to
airport.
Angkor Wat; ranking among the greatest religious monument in
the world, represent Khmer civilization which dominated the
region from900-1500 AD. The magnificent sandstone ruins cover an
area of 400 sq.km. Containing more than 100 monuments,
including 24 major temples. Some of the temples, such as Angkor
Wat and Bayon, are worth several visits at different times of
the
day because the reflections on the walls and intricate interiors
space are transformed by changing lights.
